How the New Year Draw Works
- 1
Add the names
Or share one link and let each person add their own.
- 2
Set a limit
One spending limit for every gift, or for what goes in each envelope.
- 3
Everyone draws
Each person draws a name from their own link and sees only their own result.
Built for a New Year Exchange
Families, friends and teams draw names to exchange gifts at the new year. Everyone gives one gift and receives one.
One link for a team
Share one link at work and each person adds their own name. You set how many can join and when the link closes.
Pairs kept apart
Mark who should not draw whom, such as partners or relatives who already exchange gifts, and the draw works around them.
Wishlists
Everyone lists what they would like, and only the person who drew them sees it.
No one draws their own name
Impossible by design. If the rules leave no valid draw, the generator says so rather than producing a broken one.
A New Year Look for the Group
This page is shown in Lunar New Year, a red and gold theme with names drawn from a red envelope. A group can use it on the draw, the group pages, the invite, the emails and the link preview. Themes are a paid upgrade.
